While I've done some considerable efforts to disconnect the Gordian knot between bodily functions and lighting, my efforts are futile once and again.

Of course, you can always make your snoot in a more conventional way - with a cooling grid or coroplast (or heavens forbid, buy one).

I only made two cuts on each internal baffle, but then I never was an 'Arts and Crafts' kinda guy. :) Thanks for the tip!

alternate snoot
I used a black foam can cooler.
There was the word DRINK on the out side, so I cut off the bottom and turned it inside out. works great. It looks a little more professional.
Now all I need is some black straws and I can make a grid by sticking short section of the straws into the snoot!1
